The address supplement is a free input field for the postal address (additional information to the identification of the place of delivery of the mail: residence, building …).
The addressing field is the space reserved on the fold at the postal address so that the mechanisation of the dispensers can function optimally.

In the marketing field, bounces are undelivered emails: it is the number of emails not received by the recipients following a sending. There are generally two types of bounces:
– softs bounces”: temporary errors (e.g.: recipient’s mailbox is full, mail server temporarily unavailable).
– the “hard bounces”: final errors (e.g. domain name that no longer exists, bad syntax of the email).The term Business to Business (BtoB or B2B commerce) refers to inter-company activity: i.e. all the activities of a company aimed at a clientele of professionals and companies.

Deduplication is the set of solutions allowing the identification, the cleaning, the merging of data, of duplicates present within the same database. When deduplication is carried out between several databases, it is called deduplication.

A disposable email address is a temporary, anonymous email address. Once the validity period has elapsed, the email address is automatically destroyed.
The disposable email address allows the user to register to a site, download content, receive an offer… without communicating his current email address, which prevents him from receiving spam and advertising. A duplicate is an information that appears redundantly in the same file and whose presence in duplicate (or even more) is useless.

Geocoding consists of assigning geographic coordinates (longitude/latitude) to an address. This process leads to the implementation of automated processing on a one-off basis or on address files (individuals, companies, points of interest, etc.). The geographical coordinates make it possible to position each address on a digital map via a Geographic Information System (GIS). Geocoding is one of the techniques of geolocation or geo-referencing.
Geolocation or georeferencing is a technique that allows a person (or an object, etc.) to be positioned on a map or plan using their geographic coordinates.
The georeferencing operation is carried out using a terminal capable of being located via a satellite positioning system (a GPS receiver for example) and of publishing its geographical coordinates (latitude/longitude) in real time or delayed.
In marketing, for example, this method makes it possible to locate the receiver of an advertising message geographically, thanks to the Internet or a mobile phone.Geomarketing includes all marketing actions based on the geography of populations and consumption. This approach is therefore based on the analysis of geographical, socio-behavioural and socio-demographic data (living locations, housing types, SPCs by neighbourhood, etc.).

In order to prepare for the dissemination of the 1999 population census, INSEE had developed a division of the territory into homogenous size grids called IRIS2000. This acronym stood for “Ilots Regrouped for Statistical Information” and referred to the target size of 2,000 inhabitants per elementary grid cell. Since then, IRIS (which now replaces IRIS2000) has become the basic building block for the dissemination of infra-municipal data. It must comply with geographical and demographic criteria and have unambiguously identifiable contours that are stable over time.
An ISP, (Internet Service Provider) or IAP (Internet Access Provider) is an organization offering a connection to the Internet computer network.

A license (or “on premise” installation) is a right of use granted to a user for a given software. The acquisition of a license grants you the right to install and use the software on one computer. The license is a contract that indicates your rights to use the software.

On-line data entry consists of filling in a form at the data entry station to enrich data (postal or other). These forms can be available to the customer himself (data entry form on a website for example) or to a data entry operator (intranet form, internet…).
The online form is a space dedicated to the entry of prospect data which consists of several fields, mandatory or optional, to be filled in and which allows the organisation collecting the information entered to enrich its database.

The postal address or addressing is the complete location of the recipient of a letter. It is written on the envelope by the sender of the mail and enables the postal undertaking to route and deliver the said mail. Postal addresses meet country-specific standards of presentation.

A Postal repository is a so-called “reference” file. The AFNOR XPZ 10-011 standard of May 1997 is the consensual result of a team of professional address professionals.
The 6 golden rules of the standard (extract):
– Ordered information, each line having a precise role.
– 6 lines maximum (7 for international, the last line being reserved for the name of the country of destination.
– 38 characters maximum per line, including spaces.
– No punctuation marks, italics or underscores.
– The last 3 lines are always in capital letters.
– Address keypad aligned on the left.Postal validation is the act of verifying the accuracy of the elements that make up an address using regularly updated postal reference files.

Restructuration is the action of restructuring the address, i.e. positioning the various elements of the address in the right place with regard to the AFNOR (Association Française de Normalisation) standard.

SaaS stands for “Software as a Service”. It is a concept that consists of offering a subscription to a software rather than the purchase of a license. With the development of Information and Communication Technologies, more and more SaaS offers are made through the web. It is no longer necessary to install a desktop application, but to use a client-server program.

The action of siretisation consists in enriching an address file by assigning each company in the file its SIRET number. Assigned by INSEE, the SIRET number (Système d’Identification du Répertoire des ÉTablissements) is a unique and official identifier for each French company.
DQE Software carries out the siretisation of your BtoB databases via a computer processing allowing the assignment of a company’s SIRET number from its postal address and its corporate name.
Smart Contextual Matching (SCM) is an innovative technology developed by DQE Software, using algorithms capable of taking into account in its analysis the different data contexts and formats (emails, postal addresses, telephone numbers…), in order to compare and match data with each other, in a smart way. This technology is particularly effective to identify duplicates in customer databases.
The smart data is an approach to data collection and processing that emphasizes the need to focus on relevant data to conduct marketing campaigns. The notion of smart data emerged following the explosion of data volumes collected as part of the big data phenomenon.

Third-Party Data is any information collected by the advertiser but not directly or explicitly from the prospect or customer. Generally, third-Party Data is provided by data aggregators and consists of behavioral or demographic data. It is used to define targeting, categorize users into particular segments.

In marketing, the 360° vision is a strategic approach that aims to identify and coordinate in a coherent way all the resources within the company’s reach. The 360° customer vision is the fact of adapting the company’s communication on the different points of contact with its customers in order to control customer relations on all channels.

The web form is a tool dedicated to the collection of information entered by an Internet user on a web page or an HTML e-mail.
